The automotive courses at DSS are specifically designed to allow students to get a wide range of automotive experiences. Through these experiences students are then enabled to make informed choices and possibly move towards higher level technical training,  into one of the many automotive areas, or just be more informed about their own car and be able to put that knowledge to use in their futures.

The automotive program also has an extensive career preparation program providing students with an opportunity at work experience in a variety of automotive areas. This program has been going since 1980 and has led many students in to long and fulfilling careers in the automotive industry.
