The Automotive program at DSS gives students the opportunity to be involved in real world work experience through one of our industry partners. The students complete 120 hours of work experience which gives them 4 credits towards graduation and even more important, real world work experience. Students who participate in this program benefit from:
  • Real world work experience.
  • Working with top industry professionals.
  • Making industry contacts that may lead to apprenticeship or other related career opportunities.
Todays employers are looking for trained individuals, but, above that, employers are looking for individuals with experience. Our students get that experience through our career preparation programs.

Students who have participated in the Automotive Career Preparation program have gone on to apprenticeships, industry training, and some to very rewarding and financially stable careers.

Please take a look below at past career preparation participants. If you require more information please contact me here.
